"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cottage on Lake Tawakoni. The house was very clean and accomodating. The peacefulness and seclusion of the place was just what we needed. My grandsons enjoyed the use of the paddleboat. Our 18 ft. pontoon boat fit perfectly in the slip of the dock, and we enjoyed the use of the fish cleaning facilities on the covered dock. Even though it rained during part of our stay, we still enjoyed the beautiful scenery that The Cottage provides. We look forward to staying at The Cottage again very soon." JS

"This place was great. It is so secluded you feel like you are the only ones in the cove. The views of the lake are wonderful. We fished off the dock and took our small boat out. My grandson loved to walk the banks and watch the ducks and the beaver. My daughter who is in a wheelchair would stay on the dock all day and fish. It is such a beautiful and peaceful place. We will be going back." SD
"I discovered this wonderful little place just by searching on-line for a nice, quiet and beautiful place for my husband and I to spend our vacation. I have to say that the pictures on-line can in no way capture the beauty of this place. My husband and I had a wonderful time here. Joanne and Joe were two of the kindest people we have ever met. They were available anytime we needed them. The cabin is great, no need to bring anything but food, and the view from the porch where we spent a lot of our time, was just breathtaking. We wanted somewhere to just relax and fish...we found the perfect place. We highly recommend it!* J & B Dear
"This place was fantastic. It was the perfect place to getaway from it all. Very quiet and secluded with beautiful views of the lake. My wife loved the way it was decorated and the fact that it was so cozy. But she loved the porch the best. Quiet and peaceful looking right at the lake. She spent hours out there reading and stitching while I fished. The fishing was great from the shore and the dock. Next time I plan to bring the boat since there is a slip on the dock that we can use. Joe and Joanne were very friendly and excellent hosts. ...We have definitely found our getaway spot and will be back again and again." MS
